In Uzbekistan, the digital economy's share in GDP has steadily increased, reaching 4.2% in 2023, surpassing initial projections of 3.8% [2]. The ability to construct and comprehend complex sentences is paramount for academic success, professional advancement, and effective participation in the globalized information space. Despite advancements in linguistic research, a systematic analysis of English sentence structures, encompassing both simple and complex forms, and their application within the Uzbek educational context, remains a pertinent and under-explored area. Leading linguists have made significant contributions to this field. For instance, Noam Chomsky's transformational-generative grammar provided a foundational framework for understanding the underlying rules that govern sentence formation [3]. Later, researchers like Robert D. Van Valin Jr. developed the role and reference grammar, offering a more functional approach to analyzing sentence structure and meaning [4]. Long, focusing on interaction hypothesis and comprehensible input, emphasize the role of syntactic complexity in learner development [5]. Similarly, Rod Ellis's work has explored the relationship between grammatical complexity and the development of linguistic accuracy in non-native speakers [6]. Within Uzbekistan, scholars have also actively contributed to linguistic research, albeit with a more localized focus. Professor R. S. Abdullayeva’s research has explored comparative linguistics, analyzing the structural similarities and differences between Uzbek and English sentence patterns, thereby identifying potential areas of difficulty for Uzbek learners [7]. Doctor of Philology, N. Sh. Kholmanova, has dedicated her work to the pedagogical aspects of teaching English grammar, proposing innovative methods for simplifying complex syntactic structures for secondary school students [8]. Further research by A. T. Urolov has delved into the pragmatic functions of different clause types in English, examining how their effective use can enhance communicative competence among Uzbek learners [9].
